Short Answer: Hover or click the small information (ⓘ) icons next to headings (for example next to "Files documented" or "Who can run documentation") to open tooltips with extra explanation.
Prerequisites
- Open the relevant CodeDoc tab where the information (ⓘ) icon appears
Steps
-
Locate the small information (ⓘ) icon next to the heading/column (e.g., next to "Files documented").
The information icon is visible near the heading. -
Hover over or click the information icon to display the tooltip.
A tooltip opens with explanatory text about that field. -
Read the tooltip content for guidance and dismiss it by moving the pointer away or closing it.
Tooltip disappears when no longer needed.
Troubleshooting
- Tooltip does not appear when you hover or click the icon.
LikelyCause: UI overlay or modal is blocking interaction, or browser hover behavior differs.
Action: Close overlapping dialogs, try clicking the icon instead of hovering, or refresh the page.
Note: Tooltips provide short contextual help. If more detail is needed, use Important links or product docs (see the Important links screen).
