What does the "Files documented" column mean (e.g. 420 / 620)?

Last updated on Nov 10, 2025

Short Answer: "Files documented" shows the number of files documented versus the total files for that repository/branch (documented / total).

Prerequisites

  1. Documentation runs processed for the repository/branch

Steps

  1. Open the Documentation tab and locate the "Files documented" column in the table.
You see values in the format documented / total (for example "420 / 620").

  2. Hover or click the small information (ⓘ) icon next to the "Files documented" header to view a tooltip with details.
A tooltip appears explaining how the count is calculated (if provided).

  3. If you need file-level details, open Usage and click "View detail" for a run to see the "Files documented" modal.
A modal lists the documented files with module/tags/size information.

Troubleshooting

  1. The number reads 0 / X or 0 / 0.
LikelyCause: No files have been processed for that repository/branch, or the repository hasn't been scanned.
Action: Run documentation for that repository/branch or check repository connection and retry.

Note: The information icon (ⓘ) next to a header provides context where available; use it to confirm exact calculation rules
