How do I set or change the organization's country and timezone?

Short Answer:
Go to Settings > Organization, choose your Country from Select country and your Timezone (e.g., (GMT+5:30) India Standard Time), then click Save changes.

Prerequisites

  1. Be signed in

  2. Have access to Settings > Organization

Steps

  1. Open Settings and select Organization from the left menu.
    The Organization settings page appears.

  2. Click Select country and pick your country from the list.
    Your choice fills the Country field.

  3. Click Timezone and select the correct entry (labels show GMT offset + region name).
    The selected timezone (e.g., (GMT+5:30) India Standard Time) appears in the field.

  4. Click Save changes to apply your updates.

Troubleshooting

  1. My country isn’t listed

    • LikelyCause: The list requires scrolling or is filtered.

    • Action: Scroll the list, type to search (if supported), or choose the closest match. If still missing, contact your admin.

  2. The timezone isn’t what I expected

    • LikelyCause: Wrong GMT offset or region selected.

    • Action: Reopen Timezone and pick the entry that matches your region and GMT offset.

  3. Changes didn’t save

    • LikelyCause: Network or permission issue.

    • Action: Check connectivity, refresh, sign in again, and retry Save changes. If the issue persists, ask your org admin for help.

Note: Timezone options display as (GMT±offset) Region name. The Country and Timezone fields sit side-by-side on the Organization page.
