Why does search say “No results found,” and what should I do next?

Short Answer:
It means your query didn’t match anything currently visible to you. Try different keywords, search by the exact repo/file name, or switch to the correct organization.

Prerequisites

  1. Be signed in to Everdone

Steps

  1. Click the top-bar search box (“Search repositories and files…”) and re-enter your query.

  2. Try variations: the full repository name, a specific file path (e.g., /business_panel/business.js), or shorter/alternate keywords.

  3. Verify your current organization: open your avatar menu and check Organizations; switch if the item belongs to a different org.

  4. If you still expect matches, confirm names/paths with a teammate and try again later.

Troubleshooting

  1. Message persists after multiple queries

    • LikelyCause: The item isn’t in your org/account, or the spelling/terms don’t match.

    • Action: Confirm the exact repository or file name with a teammate, or switch organizations from the avatar menu and search again.

Note: Your organization membership determines which repositories and files appear in search results.
