How do I view the details of a test case?

Short Answer: Open the test case page to see the Title, Test case ID, Description, Preconditions, Steps, Test data, Expected result, and History.

PreRequisites

1. Be signed in to the app.

2. Have access to the test case page URL.

Steps

1. Open the test case URL (for example: /services/testcase/product/orgid/testcases/:id).
   The test case page loads with breadcrumb and header.

2. Review the header section for title and metadata.
   You will see details like the title (for example, "Login - Invalid Password") and metadata such as Test case ID and Feature / Page.

3. Scroll through the main content sections.
   These include:

   • Description

   • Preconditions

   • Steps

   • Test data

   • Expected result

4. Check the right sidebar for additional details.
   You will find Status, Assignee, Category, and Last updated.

Troubleshooting

1. Page shows grey placeholder (loading skeletons).

   Likely Cause: The page is still loading or network is slow.

   Action: Wait a few seconds and refresh the page. Check your internet connection.

2. Some sections are blank or missing.

   Likely Cause: Permission issues or incomplete data load.
