Locate the "Status" field in the right-side panel.
You will see the current status (for example, "Fix ready for QA"). -
Click the "Status" dropdown.
A list of available status options appears. -
Select the status you want.
The selected status is applied and displayed in the field, and the change is recorded in "History".
Troubleshooting

Status change does not persist or reverts back.
Likely Cause: Save failed due to a network issue or insufficient permissions.
Action: Refresh the page and try again. If the issue continues, confirm you have permission to update the test case or contact the Owner listed in "People with access".
Note: All status changes are tracked in the "History" section.
