How do I open an issue to view its details?

Short Answer: Click the chevron (‘>’) at the right of an issue row to open the issue detail view.

PreRequisites

1. Repository Issues page is open

Steps

1. Locate the issue in the issues table.
   You can see Issue title, File path, Status badge, and Assignee.

2. Click the chevron (‘>’) on the far right of the row.
   The issue detail view (pane or page) opens.

3. If you’re in multi-select mode, click Clear selection in the top action bar, then open the row.
   The row opens in detail view normally.

4. If clicking the row does not open details, refresh the page and try again.
   The UI responds and the issue detail opens.

Troubleshooting

1. Clicking the chevron does nothing.
   LikelyCause: Page still loading or bulk-selection mode is active.
   Action: Wait for loading to finish or click Clear selection, then retry.

Note: The chevron (‘>’) indicates that a detail view is available for that issue.
