How do I use Manual file reviews?

Last updated on Jan 08, 2026

Short Answer: Open the “Manual file reviews” tab; existing manual reviews appear in the table or, if none exist, the page shows “No code reviews yet” and instructions to select files.

PreRequisites

  1. Be signed in to Everdone

  2. Have files available in your repository to review

Steps

  1. Open CodeReview and click the “Manual file reviews” tab.
The Manual file reviews view loads (screen_2.png).

  2. If there are no manual reviews you will see “No code reviews yet” and the hint “Select code files to instantly generate AI-powered reviews.”
You see guidance on how to start manual file reviews.

  3. When reviews exist, locate the row and click “View details” in “Actions” to inspect file results.
The “Files reviewed” modal opens and shows the files included in that manual review.

Troubleshooting

  1. A specific file is not listed in Manual file reviews.
LikelyCause: That file wasn't selected for manual review or the repository file access is restricted.
Action: Initiate a new manual review via “Run code review” and ensure the file is included, or verify repository access.

Note: The table columns include Repository, Branch, Issue summary, Severity, Last reviewed, and Actions when reviews are present.
