How do I start a code review?

Last updated on Jan 08, 2026

Short Answer: Open the CodeReview page and click the blue “Run code review” button to begin; if you have no reviews you’ll see the “No code reviews yet” message.

PreRequisites

  1. Be signed in to Everdone

  2. Access to the CodeReview section

  3. Sufficient account credits or ability to add credits

Steps

  1. Open CodeReview in Everdone.
You see the CodeReview header, tabs “Pull requests”, “Manual file reviews”, “Usage”, and the blue “Run code review” button.

  2. Click the blue “Run code review” button.
The review run starts or you are prompted to provide additional input or confirm the run.

  3. If a “Low balance” modal appears, follow the prompts to add credits.
You can add credits or complete billing to continue running the review.

Troubleshooting

  1. Clicking “Run code review” does nothing.
LikelyCause: A modal (for example “Low balance”) is blocking the workflow or required input is missing.
Action: Look for an open modal such as “Low balance”. Close or complete the modal, refresh the page, then try again.

Note: If you are unsure whether to use PR-based or file-based reviews, use “Pull requests” for PRs and “Manual file reviews” to review specific files.
