Why can't I start a new review for this repository right now?

Last updated on Jan 08, 2026

Short Answer: If a repository run is already in progress you'll see a message "Review for this repository is in progress. You can start a new run once it is completed."wait for the current run to finish.

PreRequisites

  1. File list visible

Steps

  1. Look for or hover the message that reads "Review for this repository is in progress. You can start a new run once it is completed."
You confirm there's an in-progress repository run.

  2. Wait for the current review run to complete, then reattempt "Run code review".
Once completed you can start a new run for the repository.

  3. If you believe no run is active, refresh the page to get the latest status.
Status updates and you can proceed if no run is active.

Troubleshooting

  1. Tooltip persists longer than expected and blocks new runs.
LikelyCause: Long-running review or backend delay.
Action: Wait, refresh the page, and contact support with repository details if it does not clear.

Note: Repository-level runs prevent overlapping reviews; wait for completion before starting another run.
