Steps

Open the “Choose what you want to review” page.
Heading “Choose what you want to review” and the two tabs are visible. -
Click the tab you want: “Review pull request” or “Review branch / files.”
Selected tab is highlighted. -
Open “GitHub account” and choose the account (e.g., personal-account).
Account field is populated. -
Open “Repository” and pick the repository (e.g., personal-website).
Repository field is populated. -
Open “Branch” and select the branch you want to review (e.g., develop).
Branch field is populated. -
Click the blue “Continue” button.
Proceed to the “Select files to review” screen.
Troubleshooting
- Branch list is empty or missing the expected branch.
LikelyCause: The selected account/repository doesn’t have that branch or you lack permissions.
Action: Confirm the “GitHub account” and “Repository” selection, or switch to “Review pull request” if reviewing a PR.
Note: Use “Review branch / files” when you want to pick files manually; use “Review pull request” to select an open PR.
