Short Answer: A spinner means Everdone is fetching files from GitHub; if it doesn't finish, check your connection, GitHub permissions, or retry the selection.
PreRequisites
-
You selected a PR or branch and opened the file list
-
Connected GitHub account
Steps
-
When the files area shows a spinner, wait a few seconds for the service to fetch the file list.
Files load and the spinner disappears. -
If the spinner persists, refresh the page or go back to Choose what you want to review and reselect the PR/branch.
Files reload or an error message appears. -
If problems continue, reconnect GitHub using Connect GitHub (authorize read-only access) to ensure permissions are available.
Correct permissions allow the file list to load.
Troubleshooting
- Spinner never stops and no file list appears.
Likely Cause: Network/GitHub API delay, or your GitHub account lacks access to the repository.
Action: Check network, refresh, and verify GitHub repository access. Reconnect GitHub if needed.
Note: The spinner is the UI’s indicator that files are being fetched from GitHub
