What do tooltips like 'This file type is not supported for review' and 'Not reviewed yet. Select to start reviewing.' mean?

Short Answer: Hover a file’s status icon to read the tooltip — it tells you if the file is unsupported, already has a review, or needs selection to include in a run.

PreRequisites

  1. You are on the Select files to review page

  2. File list and status icons are visible

Steps

  1. Hover the status icon or text next to a file in the file list to reveal its tooltip.
A tooltip appears with a message such as 'This file type is not supported for review' or 'Not reviewed yet. Select to start reviewing.'

  2. Interpret the tooltip: unsupported file types cannot be selected; 'Not reviewed yet' means selecting the file will include it in the next run; 'Review already available for this file' indicates an existing review is present.
You know whether to select, exclude, or wait for a file.

Troubleshooting

  1. A file cannot be checked.
LikelyCause: Tooltip says the file type is not supported for review.
Action: Exclude that file and select supported files instead.

Note: Multiple tooltip messages are shown in the UI to describe file state; hover to view them.
