How to proceed when you hit “Usage limit reached”

Short Answer:
It means you’ve hit the free-usage cap (e.g., “You’ve used your 50 free files. Add credits to continue.”). Open the notification and use Add credits (or go to Settings > Billing > Wallet & top-up) to continue.

Prerequisites

  1. Be signed in and able to open Notifications

Steps

  1. Click the bell icon to open Notifications.

  2. Find Usage limit reached and read the message (e.g., “You’ve used your 50 free files. Add credits to continue.”).

  3. Click the Add credits action (if shown) to proceed directly to billing.

  4. If no action link is shown, open your avatar > Settings > Billing > Wallet & top-up and add funds to your wallet.

  5. Return to your workflow; usage should resume once credits are added.

Troubleshooting

  1. I can’t find where to add credits

    • LikelyCause: You don’t see the action link or billing is org-managed.

    • Action: Go to Settings > Billing > Wallet & top-up. If you don’t have access, ask your organization admin to add credits.

  2. I added credits but still see the limit

    • LikelyCause: UI not refreshed yet.

    • Action: Refresh the page and retry. If it persists, confirm the wallet balance in Billing > Wallet & top-up.

Note: The top-bar notification is informational; adding credits happens in Billing if no Add credits link is present.
