How do I search repositories and files?

Last updated on Oct 16, 2025

Short Answer:
Click the search box labeled “Search repositories and files…”, type your query, then choose a result under Repositories or Files.

Prerequisites

  1. Be signed in to Everdone

Steps

  1. Click the top-bar search box (placeholder: “Search repositories and files…”).
The input focuses so you can type.

  2. Type your query (e.g., Business).
A results dropdown appears with sections like Repositories and Files.

  3. Review matches (e.g., Business panel, Business panel 2, or /business_panel/business.js).
Some items may show status pills such as Published or Draft.

  4. Click the desired repository or file to open it.

Troubleshooting

  1. “No results found. Try a different repository or file.”

    • LikelyCause: No items match, a typo, or the item isn’t in your visible organizations.

    • Action: Check spelling, try alternate keywords, or use the exact repo/file name.

  2. Search box doesn’t show results

    • LikelyCause: The field isn’t focused or another overlay is active.

    • Action: Click the “Search repositories and files…” box again, wait for the dropdown, then type your query.

Note: Results are grouped under Repositories and Files and may include status pills (e.g., Published, Draft).
