What do the Status labels 'Active', 'Pending', and 'Expired' mean?

Last updated on Oct 14, 2025

Short Answer:
Active = the member accepted and has access. Pending = an invite was sent but not accepted yet. Expired = the invite link expired and must be re-sent.

PreRequisites

  1. Open Settings > Team

Steps

  1. Open the Team page and check the Status column for each member.
You’ll see a status chip: Active, Pending, or Expired.

  2. For Pending or Expired members, use the envelope icon in Actions to re-send the invitation if needed.

Troubleshooting

  1. Member shows “Expired” but they say they accepted

    • LikelyCause: The page hasn’t refreshed, or they accepted with a different email.

    • Action: Refresh the Team page; ask the member to confirm the email they used.

  2. Member remains “Pending” after re-invite

    • LikelyCause: They haven’t completed the invite, or the email was filtered/blocked.

    • Action: Ask them to check spam/junk and complete the invite; re-invite again if necessary.

Note: Status chips appear in the Status column on the Team page and reflect the member’s current access state.
