How do I disconnect (remove) a GitHub connector?

Last updated on Oct 14, 2025

Short Answer:
Go to Settings > Connectors, click the trash icon in the connector’s Actions, then confirm by clicking Disconnect in the “Disconnect GitHub account” dialog.

Answer

Prerequisites

  1. Access to Settings > Connectors

  2. Permission to remove connectors in your Everdone organization

Steps

  1. Open Settings > Connectors and locate the GitHub connector you want to remove.

  2. Click the trash/delete icon in the Actions column.

  3. Review the warning in the confirmation dialog “Disconnect GitHub account.”

  4. Click Disconnect to confirm (or Cancel to keep it).

  5. The connector disappears from the table and access to linked repositories is revoked.

Troubleshooting

  1. I disconnected the wrong connector.

    • Action: Re-add it via Add connector and complete the connection flow again.
  2. I can’t remove a connector.

    • Likely Cause: You don’t have permission to manage connectors.

    • Action: Ask an organization admin to remove it or grant you the necessary permissions.

Note: Disconnecting removes access to all repositories linked through that account; documentation and syncs for those repos will stop automatically.
